Content Marketing Specialist

Alder & Co. is an award-winning, full-service digital marketing agency located in Knoxville, TN, that is looking for a creative Content Marketing Specialist to add to our growing team of passionate professionals. Details:

  • Schedule: Part-Time (24-32 hours/week)
  • Pay: $16-20/hour (depending on experience)
  • Location: Hybrid (in office and remote)

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling copy for email newsletters, social media posts, websites, print materials, and paid ads
  • Curate engaging content for all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Develop social media strategies for both Clients and Agency, including maintaining monthly content calendars, publishing posts, and monitoring/participating in engagement
  • Create and manage paid social media campaigns for Clients, including assisting in advising on social media budgets
  • Measure and analyze the performance of current paid and organic campaigns to identify opportunities for improvement and determine the ROI of social media and email marketing
  • efforts
  • Help manage Client email contacts by uploading new contacts, deleting unsubscribers, and segmenting audiences
  • Uploading, scheduling, and publishing written blogs and/or news articles to both Client and Agency websites
  • Work with Clients to develop planned photoshoots, including creating a mood board and coordinating with photographer
  • Other relevant duties as assigned

Skills:

  • Understand social media platforms and seek continuous improvement
  • Quickly adapt to social trends, prioritize audience, and follow branding guidelines
  • Basic experience with photo and video editing for social media
  • Intermediate knowledge of managing social media strategies for different brands and
  • platformsIntermediate experience with SEO trends
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to manage multiple brand voices and experiment with new ideas
  • Can create comprehensive media and ad plans with minimal assistance or input from senior personnel
  • Displays a basic understanding of analytics platforms and can utilize them to gauge paid media performance
  • Intermediate knowledge of Canva and/or the Adobe Creative Suite, with emphasis on Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign

Requirements:

  • At least 1+ years of professional experience, agency background preferred
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, marketing, graphic design, or a related field
    • Will consider work experience as an alternative to a formal education degree
  • Strong organizational skills, including the flexibility to handle multiple assignments for multiple
  • Clients simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and have high attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
